Brian A. Johnson, PhD, JD
Chief Executive Officer
Brian is CEO and co-founder of Upper Road. He was previously Chief Economist at the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation, a financial regulatory think tank focused on capital market efficiency and stability. Brian holds a PhD in financial economics from U.C. Berkeley and JD from Harvard Law.
Lexi Viripaeff
Chief Technology Officer
Lexi is CTO and co-founder of Upper Road. He was most recently CTO and co-founder of MightyHive, which was acquired by S4 Capital (now Media.Monks) in 2019. Prior to MightyHive, Lexi spent 8 years as an engineer at salesforce, where he worked on the first versions of the salesforce query language (SOQL) and developed the first version of salesforce's metadata API. He also created salesforce's standard ETL tool to load mass amounts of data into salesforce.com, which currently still makes 20 million SOAP requests per month.
